President Uhuru Kenyatta has issued stern warning to opposition chief and National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga following Friday's chaos that were occasioned by his dramatic return from America.
While addressing mourners during burial of Governor Wahome Gakuru in Nyeri county, the tough talking president warned that his government will not tolerate anyone who breaks the law regardless of who they are.
“We will not let a few people to ruin our country. We have a Constitution and we are a nation that is governed by rules and laws and we must all abide by it,” the president said.
Uhuru added that he will not succumb to any manners of intimidations and blackmails by the opposition leaders and reiterated that everyone must respect the law.
The president's sentiments were echoed by his deputy William Ruto who accused the opposition for causing chaos and warned that they will not succumb to their blackmails.
“Those who think they can use intimidation, chaos and violence to further their political agenda, we want to tell them they will not succeed," Ruto said.
