Controversial political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi took a swing at National Super Alliance front runner Raila Odinga as opposition supporters celebrated his return to Kenya.

In a Twitter post on Saturday, November 18, Ngunyi claimed Raila's currencies of trade are political lies and violence.

Ngunyi's sentiments came in the wake of police using tear gas, water canons, stones and allegedly, live bullets, to repel Raila's supporters from accessing Uhuru Park grounds where a grand rally was scheduled.

In the fracas, several people were injured, vehicles destroyed and about five people lost their lives. NASA claimed police shot dead the supporters but police claimed the victims were stoned to death by opposition supporters.
