Alleged pension thief, Maina, has emerged from nowhere with a message for President Buhari.
bdulrasheed Maina who is famously known for allegedly defrauding pensioners of billions of Naira, is back in the news because he never really left.
On Monday, October 23, 2017, President Muhammadu Buhari pulled the trigger on Maina who had been reabsorbed into the civil service after he was fired in 2013 for alleged pension fraud.
Maina has been on the run before he was fired; but he's re-emerged from hiding now.
In an interview with ChannelsTV, Maina addressed the president directly.
Here's all he said:
1. Maina says he's very good at recovering stolen monies
"I recovered money for last administration and I recovered money for this administration", he says.

"Thank God our president stands for the truth. The unfortunate thing is that some people around him who he has given trust, are lying to him. This one I can attest to. I can give you instances, I can give you documentary evidences.
"People portray themselves as if they are saints around the president. It’s a lie".

"I'm appealing to you Mr. President, there are many things people are not telling you. When I get to that public hearing, I’d tell you some things that nobody ever told you, Mr. President because I never had the opportunity to sit down with you and I tell you Mr. President, I’d give you information and documents that would fetch you N3T now in Nigeria".

Here's Maina in his own words: "If I don’t do it, Mr. President, give me nine months, within the first three months, I’ll show you N1T. Just like I showed you N1T in this 2017. I’ll show you and I’ll show you and I’ll show you again".
More like showing us the money, huh?
